Profile and Settings

The Settings area lets you manage your account information, change your password, and configure how you receive notifications.

From the user menu (desktop):

  1. In the top-right corner, select your user avatar.
  2. Select Settings.

From the sidebar (desktop):

  1. At the bottom of the left sidebar, in the General section, select Settings.

From the mobile menu:

  1. Select the hamburger menu icon.
  2. At the bottom of the menu, select Settings.

The Settings hub displays cards for each settings area: Profile and Notifications. Select a card or its Configure button to open that section.

  1. In the top-right corner, select your user avatar.
  2. Select Profile.

The My Profile page shows:

  • Avatar — Displays your initials based on your full name
  • Full Name — Your display name in the system
  • Email — Your login email address
  • Role badge — Your assigned role (for example, Admin, QA_Team, User)
  • Status badge — Whether your account is Active or Inactive
  1. In the top-right corner, select your user avatar.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. On the My Profile page, scroll down to the Permissions section.

Permissions are listed by module (for example, “documents”, “deviations”, “capa”). Each module heading shows the specific actions you can perform as badges (for example, “create”, “read”, “update”, “approve”).

  1. In the top-right corner, select your user avatar.
  2. Select Profile.
  3. On the My Profile page, scroll down to the Change Password section.
  4. In the Current Password field, enter your current password.
  5. In the New Password field, enter a new password (minimum 6 characters).
  6. In the Confirm New Password field, enter the new password again.
  7. Select Change Password.

A green success message confirms the change. If there is an error (for example, incorrect current password or mismatched passwords), a red error message is displayed.

  1. Open the Settings hub (see Open the settings hub).
  2. Select the Notifications card.
  3. On the Notification Management page, select the Notification History tab.
  4. Review the table showing all sent notifications:

  1. To reload the history, select Refresh.
  1. Open the Settings hub (see Open the settings hub).
  2. Select the Notifications card.
  3. On the Notification Management page, select the Preferences tab.
  4. Enable or disable notifications for each event type and channel.

Independently from the Notification Management page, the notification bell in the top bar provides quick access to recent notifications.

  1. In the top bar, select the bell icon. A red badge shows your unread count (up to 99).
  2. In the dropdown, review your 10 most recent notifications. Unread notifications are highlighted.
  3. To navigate to the related record, select a notification.
  4. To clear all unread indicators, select Mark all read.
  5. To open the full Notification Management page, select View All Notifications.
