Practical example: monitoring training rollout for a revised SOP
Section titled “Practical example: monitoring training rollout for a revised SOP”Scenario: SOP-MFG-015 (Tablet Compression) was revised and made effective. You need to track training completion across Production, QA, and Maintenance groups and ensure all personnel are trained before the next production run.
Check per-document statistics:
- On the left sidebar, select Documents and open SOP-MFG-015.
- On the document detail page, review the Training Stats Panel. It shows: Assigned 45, Completed 32, Percent 71%, Threshold 80%.
- The threshold is not yet met — the document cannot be made effective until 80% completion is reached (36 of 45 personnel).
Review the training matrix:
- Navigate to Admin and select the View Matrix tab.
- In the Templates panel, select the Manufacturing SOP template card. The badge shows 71% completion in yellow.
- The bar chart shows completion by group: Production (25 of 30 — 83%), QA (5 of 8 — 63%), Maintenance (2 of 7 — 29%).
- The Maintenance group is lagging significantly. Contact the Maintenance supervisor to prioritize training completion.
Set up an automatic rule for future revisions:
- Select the Configure Rules tab.
- Select Create Rule.
- Set Workflow Template to
Manufacturing SOP. - In Groups, add Production, QA, and Maintenance.
- Check Assign training when document reaches training stage.
- Select Create Rule.
Now, whenever a Manufacturing SOP reaches the training stage in its approval workflow, training is automatically assigned to all personnel in those three groups.
