Feedback
The Feedback admin tab lists every piece of feedback submitted through the in-app Feedback widget — bug reports, feature requests, UX issues and general comments — and lets an admin triage each one: read the full context it was submitted with, add internal notes, move it through a status workflow, and link it to the Jira ticket tracking the follow-up work.
Open the Feedback tab
Section titled “Open the Feedback tab”- On the left sidebar, select Admin.
- In the admin sidebar under Compliance, select Feedback.
Filter and search feedback
Section titled “Filter and search feedback”Use the filter row at the top of the page to narrow the list. Filters combine and are applied automatically as you change them.
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Category | Bug Report, Feature Request, UX Issue, or General |
| Status | New, Acknowledged, In Progress, Resolved, or Closed |
| Priority | Low, Medium, or High — set by the person who submitted it |
| Search | Free-text search across the description and the linked Jira ticket key |
Read the feedback table
Section titled “Read the feedback table”Each row shows the feedback ID, the submitter’s name and email, category, priority, status, a linked Jira ticket key (if one has been added), and the submission date. Select a row to open its detail panel.
Review a feedback item’s context
Section titled “Review a feedback item’s context”The detail panel for a selected item shows:
- The full description as submitted.
- Submitted by — the user’s name and email, and their role at the time (when available).
- Page URL, browser info, and viewport — captured automatically at submission, so you can reproduce a bug report without asking the submitter for their environment.
- A screenshot, if the submitter captured one.
- Any attached files, each downloadable individually.
Add internal notes
Section titled “Add internal notes”- Select a feedback item to open its detail panel.
- Enter free text in Admin Notes.
- Select Save Notes.
Notes are internal — the submitter does not see them.
Move feedback through its status
Section titled “Move feedback through its status”A feedback item moves through a fixed sequence: New → Acknowledged → In Progress → Resolved → Closed. Each state only accepts a transition to the next one; there is no skipping ahead or moving backward.
- Select a feedback item to open its detail panel.
- Select the transition button shown for its current status (Acknowledge, Start Work, Resolve, or Close).
Link a Jira ticket
Section titled “Link a Jira ticket”If the feedback has an associated Jira ticket, its key appears in the table and in the detail panel as a link that opens the ticket in Jira. Attach or update the linked ticket through the API integration your workspace uses to route feedback to Jira; the admin view reflects whatever ticket key and URL are recorded against the item.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”| Role | Access Level |
|---|---|
| Admin | Full access — list, view detail, add notes, transition status, view linked Jira tickets |
| QA_Team | No access — the Admin panel itself is role-gated to Admin only |
| User | No access |
| Auditor | No access |
