Keyboard Shortcuts
InnoQualis EQMS provides keyboard shortcuts for global navigation, record creation, and context-sensitive actions on individual resources.
Open the command palette
Section titled “Open the command palette”-
From any page, press
Cmd + K(macOS) orCtrl + K(Windows/Linux). The palette opens with the cursor in its input. -
Type what you want. Two kinds of result appear:
Group What it contains Actions Tasks you can start immediately — New deviation, Upload document, New CAPA, and the equivalent for every module your role and plan allow Records Matching documents, deviations, CAPAs, equipment, audits, suppliers and complaints Actions are listed first. A palette that buries “New deviation” under twelve documents matching “dev” is a search box with a different keybinding.

Move the highlight with the
UpandDownarrow keys. -
Press
Enterto run the highlighted result, or select it with the mouse. -
Press
Escapeto close. Focus returns to the control you were on before the palette opened.

Use the Quick Access Toolbar
Section titled “Use the Quick Access Toolbar”The Quick Access Toolbar appears below the top navigation bar. When the toolbar is focused, you can use the shortcuts listed below to create records, navigate to modules, manage system areas, or open tools.
To focus the toolbar, select anywhere inside it.

Use contextual action shortcuts
Section titled “Use contextual action shortcuts”When you are viewing a specific resource (document, deviation, CAPA, training, or audit), a contextual quick actions panel is available. The panel appears as a lightning bolt button fixed to the bottom-right corner of the page.
Open the quick actions panel
Section titled “Open the quick actions panel”- On the resource detail page, select the lightning bolt button in the bottom-right corner. The panel expands to show all available actions for the current resource and status.
- With the panel focused, press any shortcut listed below.
- Select the X button or click outside the panel to close it.
Document shortcuts

Switch between light and dark mode
Section titled “Switch between light and dark mode”- In the top navigation bar, select the sun/moon icon. The theme toggles between light and dark mode. Your preference is saved to the browser and persists across sessions.
Practical example: using shortcuts in a daily workflow
Section titled “Practical example: using shortcuts in a daily workflow”A QA Specialist processes her morning queue entirely from the keyboard:
- She presses
Ctrl+1to navigate to the Dashboard and reviews her assigned items. - She presses
Ctrl+K, types “DEV-2024-047”, and selects the deviation from the results. - On the deviation detail page, she selects the lightning bolt button to open the quick actions panel, then presses
Ctrl+Ito start the investigation. - After completing the investigation notes, she presses
Ctrl+Cfrom the quick actions panel to create a linked CAPA directly from the deviation. - She presses
Ctrl+2to navigate to Documents, locates the SOP that needs updating, and pressesCtrl+Efrom the quick actions panel to open it for editing. - She presses
Ctrl+Kagain to search for a training record she needs to review, finds it, and pressesCtrl+Afrom the quick actions panel to assign it to the relevant team members.
By using shortcuts instead of mouse navigation, she completes her morning review without switching between menus.
